The Introduction to Sisters in Spirit
by Ragemoon
High up above the earth the stars shined and the planets moved to an odd alignment. This movement heralded the awakening of three young woman who would protect their part of the earth from evil beings.
They were destined to become part of a group of six. Though the other three would have no magic the friendships and sisterhood they would form would be the beginnings of a special chapter in human history.
The house of Celestial Legacy would be born from them coming together. These six would keep their world safe along with six other houses that were comprised of six people. Three gifted in magic and three not gifted in magic. The three non-magic users would bring other skills to the group.
So it has begun. Welcome to the next chapter of human history... the Celestial Legacy.

Inside an apartment sofas and chairs were moving about. No one was there yet the chairs and other inaniment objects moved of their own accord and made the apartment a mess. Feminine laugher filled the space. Yet no one was there.

On a beautiful California campus sat a slight dark haired girl. She was dressed in black from her head to her toes. She was not at her own collage but at her buddies. Her purple backpack sat at her feet as she drew in her drawing pad.
The California Medical College was a lovely campus if you were studying to be a nurse, doctor or any type of caregiver. The trees and the wide lawns gave the students a sense of peace not found anywhere in the world. It was an almost magical peace.
Brandie had to smile at that. 'It is magical. Auntie wanted these student to feel peace here. That is why there is usually more then just students and teachers here. Former students come back just to gain some peace back. All in all its a good work that was woven here.'
For the dark haired girl could feel the presence of the web of peace her Aunt Gally wove to help the students and faculty as well as alumni of the school.
She continued to draw the students as they walked past. These students never seemed to truly notice she was there. Even if they did they always flashed Brandie a shy smile. They did not judge the small girl-woman that was drawing them. Capturing them on her paper with her pencil.
Two girls were talking quitely to themselves. the chestnut haired one was disturbed about something. Her red haired friend was trying to calm her down. They looked over to where they felt a fimiler presence. They smiled as they spotted their friend. Both were tall. The chestnut haired beauty had the clearest blue eyed with a slim fit build. The flaming red haired beauty had dazzling hazel eyes with a slim build. They both moved with the grace of dancers.
"Konnichi wa Brandie-chan." they said to their shorter friend.
Brandie looked up at them and smiled. "Konnichi wa Andrea-chan and Kerri-chan. Are you two ready to go?"
They nodded. Rising Brandie joined them and they left taking Brandie's BMW.

In a secluded part of the estate that Brandie's Otosan owned the girls lit candles in a ritual house that Mr. Chang had build for his daughter and her friends. That way they had a place that was safe to practice their spells.
He understood their needs and saw to them. For he knew what it felt like to bear gifts that the world feared. Ki Chang understood this well. So he gave his daughter and her friends their space. Somedays he found his memory slipping and would yell at all three like they were his daughters.
This made all three girls smile. With their impish smiles they brought him back, Ki would shake his head and wave them on. They had all suprised him and called him 'Otosan' together. It had made his heart constrict with sheer joy.
He sat in his favorite water garden. His eyes strayed to where his daughter and her spirit sisters where. The ritual house was glowing softly from the glow of candles and witchlights.
Andrea lit the candles. A soft yellow glow came from the white candles. The three gathered around a large book. Brandie flipped the pages as three sets of eyes read the hand written words. The words imprinted themselves on the girls memory.
Kerri sighed. "I am glad Grandmother left this for me. I am also glad she told me to find my two soul sisters." the other two grinned. "Well lets do it."
She stopped on a page. "To ease a wandering spirit." Kerri read aloud.
"That's the one we need." Brandie said softly.
Andrea nodded.
So together they chanted. "Distant wanderer hear us. Go in peace and be on your way. Your time here is done. It is now time to move on." They repeated this till they all had it memorized.

Back in Andrea's apartment the chestnut haired beauty looked around and sighed. The place was a mess once more. The soul that was in her apartment ripped apart her things again.
Kerri rubbed her head. "My sweet goddess this is bad." Her hazel eyes took in the destruction of the apartment infrount of them. Everything was askew, not in its place.
Brandie nodded. "There it is." The dark haired beauty spoke as she felt the spirit draw closer to the three standing in the middle of the room.
The spirit shimmered in. It was angry with not being alive. The spirit woman infrount of them glared. It screamed a loud banshee type scream. The scream blasted the soul siblings backward. They crashed into a wall.
Groaning they picked themselves out of the now ruined closet. Dusting themselves off they stood and grabed a hold of each others hands. Gathering their power they began to repeat the words that the trio had just taught themselves back in their ritual space. "Distant wanderer hear us. Go in peace and be on your way. Your time here is done. it is now time to move on."
The ghost looked surprised. As its form whispered in and out of this reality. It was not easy for it to stay in the mortal plains. For most of the spirit wanted nothing else the to go where it was supposed to go.
The girls repeated once more. "Distant wanderer hear us. Go in peace and be on your way. Your time here is done. It is now time to move on."
The ghost began to flicker in its way. It silently screamed at them. The three chanters brached themselves for her next onslaught. Which came and with much force. Their hair whiped around them chestnut, flame and night all mingled and stood strong against the attack.
They repeated the spell a third time. "Distant wanderer hear us. Go in peace and be on your way. Your time here is done. It is now time to move on."
The spirit disappeared from the apartment with a pop.
Andrea blinked as she saw three other girls. One with long blonde hair she was on a plane heading somewhere. Then she saw another redhead who appeared to be having a secret grief that she wanted to share. Then there was the girl with strawberry blond hair- she looked all american.
The girls hugged each other. They then performed the cleansing ritual for the apartment.
Andrea was talking to Kerri the next day when a moving van pulled up dropping its cargo. One young woman stood there helping the movers with her belongings. She had the most amazing blond hair.
This was the first person Andrea saw in her vision- and she would be the one who unites these 6 souls together in this house of the Celestial Legacy.
